Articles must be the result of original scientific research and must have not been previously printed or published via web, not even in another language. Each installment, by offering editions of unpublished texts, making rigorous analysis, providing critical discussions, contribute to the advance of knowledge.Īevum is an academic periodical open to contributions in history, philology, documentary sciences (epigraphy, palaeography, etc), concerning the cultural tradition of Europe and the cultural exchanges between Europe and other countries, from ancient to modern times. Currently it publishes in three yearly installments - dedicated respectively to the Classical Age, to the Middle Ages and to modern Europe - both short and long articles, reviews and bibliographical notes. It has both a national and an international circulation. The journal Aevum, first published in 1927, represents for a large segment of humanistic studies the voice of the Faculty of Art and Philosophy of the Università Cattolica del S. ![]()
